Business Starting Grants

Where does a person go to apply for grants for starting a business?

Specifically, grants for displaced homemaker female, who wants to support her family. Is there anything like this? Actually, I work for the SBTDC! I have a client who is insisting on grants...and I cannot get her mind on anything else. Wanted to just give her a place to go to search it out. Thanks, though. Her best bet is a guaranteed SBA loan.
