Business Starting Grants

Where should we start with our business idea?

My friend and I are 17, are entering our senior year and would really love to eventually open a coffee stand in our beach community that show cases local music artists and supports different causes. We know this is quite ambitious so we would like to start with a smaller idea that can later expand. The question we have is "what"? The only idea we have been able to come up with thus far are painted Ts (as my friend is an incredible artist). Do you have any ideas?? (And all business advice is welcome as well) Thanks!!
