Business Starting Grants

Can anyone give me any business idea that can be done at home spending 4-5 hours a day?

I am 48 yrs old & I have a free time.I want to utilize this time for earning some extra income. Although I am a teacher I do not like to give private coaching.So I need to engage myself in some other productive activities which will help me for increasing future efficiency in other areas as well as fill my pocket in an honest way.If any one can help me by giving any positive idea of doing business from home,I will remain grateful to you!

You can always sell Avon, Mary Kay, Amway/Quixtar, Tupperware, etc. If you don't like the direct sales opportunities or MLMs then there are other avenues of course like starting your own business doing something you enjoy from home. There are online mediums too, but they're few and far between...at least the legit ones that can earn you an honest income. I utilize internet marketing on the side in addition to my own business - feel free to contact me if you wish. Good luck in your search.
3. If you are a teacher, you would probably enjoy creating a blog and/or building lenses on Squidoo. You could draw from your experiences in life and as a teacher to create helpful and interesting pages with many different topics. You won't make a lot right away, but if you carefully create pages with great content, sign up for affiliate programs and use links relative to your topic, over time you can build a decent income.
