Start Up Business Grants?
Could anyone help me? In this economy, are there any grants available for a new start up? I have created a product, made the prototypes and conducted market research (Worked in marketing most of my life and have an MBA), and am ready for the the next step. I'm confident this product will be a home run, but procuring the funds to go to the next step is my issue. Any suggestions? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

- Depends where you live, your age and also your employment status if you are in the UK apply to Business Gateway if you are unemployed, see a business advisor as the job centre if your are under 25, you may get assistance from the Princes Trust, also via Business Gateway Grants usually up to around £500 -£1,000 may be available subject to terms and conditions
- The tax payers are not forking out money for commercial business. If you thought you were you are incorrect. You can get a start up loan from sba.gov. The other option is to contact venture capitalist.
- The US Government has a web page where you can search for grants that may be available to you, depending on the state in which you live, the industry of your business, etc. It is free to use. http://search.business.gov/startLoans.html You can also use the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance for free to get information on grant types available and the agencies who provide them: https://www.cfda.gov/
