business idea??????????

Hi, I know that no one wants to give away a great business idea if they have one, but just thought id ask for some ideas, tips or any info you could give me. I want to live in thailand, im only 20 but i love it there. im half thai half kiwi, can speak thai fluently read it and write it. thanks for any help in advance. also how much do people earn teaching english? and would i need a certificate to do so?

1. Teach English. No you do not need any certificates to teach if you are doing it independently. The only time you will need credentials is if you work for a learning institution. There are international "headhunters" for teaching languages in Thailand. Most of them pay for a room and utilities, and give you a monthly salary. All you have to do is teach very basic English. You don't even need to be great at thai. Here is one job placement company.... hope they can help! Good luck to you.
2. Many foreigners make decent money on Ebay based in Thailand. One advantage you have over local Thais is your English, which is very important to the selling part on Ebay. A lot of factories are located in Thailand. If you network well, you'll do well. If you have hobbies, start from there.
3. Do you have any special skills? Programming, graphic design, writing? If so, you could open a provider account on elance and try to get work there. Doesn't require you to be in Thailand but you could perhaps leverage your bilingual skills. A lot of people try selling Thai handicrafts online. The auction sites are flooded with cheap crap that nobody buys. Probably just lose money with that. But if you have some specialty you might do ok, things like collectibles (stamps, coins) if you know the subject well.
4. There is no decent money in teaching English and any honest respectable organisation will require a certificate and a sample lesson. The kind of places that do not require evidence of genuine qualifications and talent are the kind of of organisations that do not pay you at the end of the month, often run by criminals. Learn to read and write Thai and make money from that angle and get the basic Genuine TEFL CERT so you have two honest ways to make money.
