Business Starting Grants

Where can I find grants to start a small business?

I am looking for some where that I could find grants to help me open up a small retail business. Anytime I look I just find the crap sites that gives lists of other sites, is there any one site(i.e. a government site) or a real site that gives lists about grants or even books that tell you about grants.? And how to apply. Any advice is much appreciated!

1. You can go to grants.gov, but unless you are in basic research, there are no grants to start a business.
2. Your tax money is not being used to line the pockets of businesses. There are no grants. You can apply for a loan from the government though, sba.gov
3. Under Prime Minister's Rog Ka Yojana Scheme ,you can avail loan up to 3 Lacs (with 25 % Subsidy). You may contact the Manager ,District Industries Center in your District. They may guideline you properly if you have necessary educational qualification for the same.
