How do i apply for a small business grant in the UK?

im currently studying IT at college, when i finish i am hoping to start up my own online store. i recently heard about small business grants which are funded by the government. how do i apply for one..thanks

1. I don't know about the UK but, in here in the states, there are literally hundreds of sites that say that you can get a grant to start a business. They are all SCAMS. One thing to keep in mind: If you find a site and it charges a fee, it is a scam.
