Where can I get a grant for a small business?

At school, we're supposed to find small grants for our business, which is a project we're doing. The business is run by teens, and it's temporary. Where could I get a grant for such a business?

1. You can't. The US government web site is http://www.grants.gov and they specifically state there are no grants for personal financial assistance, starting your own business, buying or fixing a house, etc. Your best bet is to look at the Small Business Administration website at http://www.sba.gov - the site will direct you to the best sources of information for starting and funding any small business.
