Any Grants for women starting up new business?

I've heard there are thousands of grants available out there for women who are looking to either expand their business or start one up. I am one of those women. My mom and I are looking to start our own online business selling gift & fashion items. I'm looking for some of these grants out there, but cannot seem to find sites that are LEGITIMATE! A lot of these "grants" look like scams. Does anyone know where I could find these grants? Has anyone ever received one? I'm not looking for LOANS, but GRANTS only. Thanks in advance!

2. There are no grants. It's a myth. However there is help available through Small Business Association or Women Business Centers. You need to find a local chapter and call them. They have entrepreneurship classes available for very low fee. They also provide consultations how to prepare your business plan and apply for the loan. Don't expect that anyone just give you free money, however if you need specific help with your business you might get it.
