If you don't personally know these 'other people', I would suggest not EVEN entering into any agreements or contracts with them. A written contract properly signed and notarized would be OK I guess - but if they aren't willing to do that - - > is a 100% sign that they are trying to scam you or steal your customers or your profits. Be careful.
