Is having a business selling insurance a good way to make lots of money?

Is someone who owns a personal business of selling all sorts of insurance to 19 different companies and into buying and selling stocks making good money? I don’t know how much money you can make selling insurance to different companies. The person has been doing this for 19 years and he said it’s been a good year so far. What is a good year for this kind of business?

  1. Selling insurance is companies is not bad. My uncle started his own company in the 1950s as an agent for insurance companies. All he does is help insurance companies get leads and new customers. But business is not good in this recession. Just look at AIG, everyone's defaulting on their insurance premium.
