Business Starting Grants

My wife is retiring in about 1-2 years, where do you get start up business grants?

The web sites are all a bunch of crapolla.

1. For a government grant, go to grants.gov/ and follow the instructions. But unless your business will involve, daycare, basic research or alternative energy, there are no grants.
2. create a buisness my freinds grand father started carmax and then when he died they sold it and now his family is rich but hire other people to do the jobs that way all you have to do is chek on it every once in a while and get paid or buy all those five dollar moter boats on ebay moters and sell em when the hard econymy is over
3. no such things as business grants - those are all scams - you have to be a non-profit agency to have any chance of getting any kind of grant and that involves complex grant proposal writing skills
