Where should I start looking for a business development grant for small business?
I have my own small company that is listed as a corporation in Ontario. I'm wondering how I can apply for business development grants for the technology/internet industry. I'm working on some big web ideas but need funding. My dad told me that one of his friends got some grant money for R & D.

- You can check out the Canada Government's small business websites listed below. You may also qualify for CFDC loans. Then there is the SR&ED credit. (thats the R & D tax credit) Then there are the CYBF's. The last resource is my blog where I post articles on entrepreneurship, small business issues, marketing.
- Go to http://www.grants.gov/ to see what government grants are available, if any, and how you can apply for them. You may also find grants at http://foundationcenter.org/ Then, go to http://www.npguides.org/ for instructions on how to write a foundation grant proposal
