Where can I apply for a small business grant?

I was thinking about opening a small business and was wondering if there were grants available. I find websites but they just ask you to buy books to help you. I would like to know where I can go directly to apply for a grant.

1. visit your local H&R Block. you can get all this information for free. plus they will meet with you for your first time free. i had 2 friends start up a lawncare business and they used H&R block to find out all of the information.

It;s free,, If anyone wants you to pay them money, its a scam... there are many many scams out there,, beware,, The good ones are the ones who want a one time fee and will return the money...
