Can I make a living by selling business concepts?

Not to run the business in its entirety, just selling ideas to owners and then take the cash. Is this possible?

1. the short answer - yes, you can. I guess it's called "consulting". But consulting industry is highly competitive now and you have to know something that would make you at least one step ahead of your competitors. My advise is: try to sell your services on forums for small business owners. And see their reaction. You should have great reputation in communities where small business owners spend time, otherwise they will consider you as another nasty spammer..
2. I'd say it's pretty unlikely-most business owners have more ideas than they can implement. Financing and execution are more valuable to the business owner.
