- I would like to know the same thing.
- I read it in a book so it must be true. No, seriously, if you don't want to put out any money initially, so to your local book store and check out the section about business and there will be atleast one book by Matthew Lesco. He's made it his job to complie all of the general information into a book form.
- If you are from MetroManila, Philippines, I can give you the name of government agencies that can help a business start-up with a viable business plan.
- I would recommend that you do not go into debt to start a business. Try this... go to work in the kind of business you want to start and learn all about it from the ground up. Save some of your salary and when you have enough, you will know how to be successful and you will not have the worry of having to pay back a loan. A free book on starting a new business.. Go It Alone.. find it at New Free Books.
- In the US there is an agency called SBA(Small business agency)They do issue loans for new enterprises but you have to qualify and present them with a state of the art business plan.
- There are no grants for a for profit business unless you are opening a daycare. If you need money, you will need to apply for a loan. No lender will talk to you unless you provide them with a valid business plan. Go to http://www.sba.gov , http://www.score.org or http://www.bplan.com for sample business plans and instructions on how to write a business plan. Then, go to http://www.score.org/ and in the upper left hand corner, enter your zip code. On the next screen, you will get information on the nearest SCORE chapter. Call them and arrange for a free meeting with a SCORE counselor to review your business plan and discuss various loan options available to you. SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors.
