Business Starting Grants

Need help in asking to borrow money for a startup business cost?

I am looking into starting my own direct selling business, but I am low on cash and need only about $250 for startup costs. I'm thinking about asking my mom to borrow the money and pay her back, but I don't really know how to ask her. I know she will lend it to me without question but I'm still kind of nervous to ask her. Any suggestions on how to ask? I'm looking to start up as a consultant for Pure Romance...the $250 covers product costs for one of their kits. I know from personal experience their products are expensive...so this is actually a good deal.

  1. don't ask her....just take it.
  2. Are you actually starting your own company or becoming a rep or consultant with a company? $250 seems like a lot of money to get started with a direct sales company. My company only required $29. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money so if you're serious about your investment and working your business then ask for the loan and make sure you pay it back ASAP. Don't let fear hold you back.
